Gina Carano to star in Steven Soderberghs movie Knockout

Is this the end up fighting in the cage for Gina Carano? After losing to Cybrog Santos last month it looked like she was going to keep going and possibly join the UFC. With getting the lead role in Steven Soderbergh’s Knockout it looks like she is going to be taking plenty of time off. Quintin Rampage Jackson is also doing the same thing playing B.A. “Bad Attitude” Baracus in the new A-Team movie. What is with fighters wanting to be movie stars and movie stars wanting to be fighters? Of the fighting movies I have seen so far starring real fighters, they suck and are horrible at acting. Hopefully Gina Carano can act. She was already in one movie called Blood and Bone starring as an underground street fighter.

If she does well in the movie business she may never have to get hit in the face again. She can fight and barely get 100k for a fight, or keep doing well in movies, commercials, and other gigs and make a decent six figure income. It would be a no brainer to anyone just looking to make money. If Gina Carano is a real MMA fighter she will stick to fighting. Same goes for any other mixed martial arts fighters.
